DEPARTMENT OF OBSTETRICS & GYNAECOLOGY Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology has been functioning successfully since 2016 with a vision of providing comprehensive, compassionate, and evidence-based care to women at every stage of life. The department is dedicated to delivering quality maternal and reproductive health services, including antenatal care, safe delivery practices, emergency obstetric management, and comprehensive gynaecological care. All types of gynaecological surgeries, including open and laparoscopic procedures, are performed successfully in the department. Cancer screening facilities are also available. The department has a dedicated infertility OPD where complete work-up of infertile couples is undertaken. It also has a fully equipped laboratory and operation theatre for Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) procedures, which are carried out regularly with good success rates. The postgraduation (MS OBSTETRICS & GYNAECOLOGY) started in 2023 with permission of 6 seats. It has been increased from 6 to 8 in the academic year 2025-26.
