Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology has been functioning successfully since 2016 with a vision of providing comprehensive, compassionate, and evidence-based care to women at every stage of life. The department is dedicated to delivering quality maternal and reproductive health services, including antenatal care, safe delivery practices, emergency obstetric management, and comprehensive gynaecological care. All types of gynaecological surgeries, including open and laparoscopic procedures, are performed successfully in the department. Cancer screening facilities are also available. The department has a dedicated infertility OPD where complete work-up of infertile couples is undertaken. It also has a fully equipped laboratory and operation theatre for Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) procedures, which are carried out regularly with good success rates. The postgraduation (MSOBSTETRICS & GYNAECOLOGY) started in 2023 with permission of 6 seats. It has been increased from 6 to 8 in the academic year 2025-26.

Dr. Neelam Swaroop is an accomplished academician, clinician, and educator serving as the Head of Department at T. S. Misra Medical College. She completed her MBBS from King George Medical College, Lucknow (1996) and her postgraduate training at Maharani Laxmi Bai Medical College, Jhansi. With extensive teaching and clinical experience at GSVM Medical College, Kanpur and UPUMS, Saifai, she joined TS Misra Medical College as Professor in 2020. A dedicated researcher with numerous national and international publications, she has mentored many undergraduate and postgraduate students. Known for her visionary leadership, compassionate patient care, and commitment to excellence, Dr.Swaroop continues to inspire academic growth, innovation, and professionalism in medical education.
