There are 5 Gallery type lecture halls. 4 Lecture halls are of 180 seating capacity at academic block and 1 is of 200 seating capacity at Hospital block. Lecture halls have a pitched floor so that those in the rear are seated higher than those at the front, allowing them to see the lecturer. Lecture halls are excellent for focusing the attention of a large group on a single point, either an instructor or an audio-visual presentation, and the modern lecture halls feature audio-visual equipment. A microphone and loudspeakers are commonly used for helping the lecturer to be heard, and projection screens may be used for large displays. In addition, the acoustic properties of the lecture halls are definitely helpful for the listeners.
