The Departmental museum caters a collection of objects of academic interests. In the form of mounted specimens, dry specimens, models, plates, charts etc.
There are eight Departmental Museums in the Departments of Anatomy, Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Forensic Medicine, Community Medicine, General Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
The catalogue system in museum is maintained according to MCI criteria.
Provide the students’ knowledge under the guidance of teachers for their subject of interest.
There are sitting arrangements in the museum where faculties and students can sit and read for the museum specimens in details for knowledge and research purposes.
A museum register is well maintained in the Department and periodically updated.
Provision for preparing the specimen and models in the departments are available for making the museum expandable.
